Author\'s Response: Well, the first A/N, "I Did Try..." is a drabble in iteself. Just a short stab at humor. The challenge was to take a LOTR story, anyone's and condense it. I choose the original. Well, I just figured an explanation was in order. The second A/N was to stem off any cries of OOC or A/U. After the discussions in the forums, I figured I owed the reader a warning and the chance to skip the story. So, two parts were the actual original posting. The third one was just covering my bases.Glad you read it anyway. Nice to know that three readers here know how to respond. I was beginning to think I need to take CPR classes. LOL
