Review for A THOUSAND YEARS

A THOUSAND YEARS

(#) BJH 2013-05-22

Amusing chapter. I find it interesting that Amelia, Connie, Carolyn, and Augusta are going to commit the same crimes that Albus and Millie committed in order to accomplish the sames goals that they did. They plan on manipulating people and breaking the law to mold the Wizarding World into the shape that they want it to take.

Heya BJH!

You’re right, but given the corrupt nature of the wizarding government, the only other way would be stage an armed revolt, and of course Dumbledore would be there in a flash to put it down. Legally speaking, they haven’t violated any actual laws. They’re simply using the ‘rules’ in place to their own advantage.

‘Illegal conspiracy’ is a term that can be used to mean whatever the prosecution wants it to mean. For instance, the first factory shoemakers who tried to unionize were arrested, tried…and even executed for ‘illegal conspiracy to increase wages’.

Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) once said: “Laws and Sausages are two things you should never see being made.”
