A THOUSAND YEARS

Liked your breakdown of lycanthropy. Nice intro to Harry and Hermione. Loved his explanation to the teacher. You were lucky, I only heard of Heinlein and Anne McCaffrey within the last year through either Bob & Alyx, TimW and yourself via FF sites. I grew up with the luxury of Larry & Stretch and JT Edson westerns. Cheers.

Author's response

Heya Z!

A lot of what I use here, was developed for JEDI, and so I use it where I can find a place. It does make sense to me that the disease would be so specific. Anything at a cellular level would be much simpler to treat, ergo it has to be smethign the WW wouldn’t’ consider. I also made mention of that failing while having Harry and ‘Mione analyzing the blood samples.

Intro: Since at this point in time, both are children, and taking into considerationboth characters from canon, I figured this would be the best way. She makes a friend and at the same time steps into another world. As for Harry, he gets to see hos his beloved grew up…and maybe influence that rearage.

Heinlein was my very first favorite author, and McCaffery was my first ‘grown-up level’ author. I’ve read literally hundreds of authors and thousands of books, from Asimov to Zlelazny. Never was much for Westerns, as I grew up in New Mexico with the native Americans (we called them Indians then) and saw the other side for myself.
