I really like this story for a couple reasons.
1) Love the way you worked it into the manga. The join is all but seamless. I really love that -- if you love a story, you don't ever want to just plunder it. I like 'missing scenes' like this one very much.
2) Their mutual horror at discovering the attraction hits the perfect note, IMHO. They ARE fairly horrified; they're boys of a certain age and they're reacting right in character, I think. But, additionally cool -- the totally believable internal trip Ichigo takes towards acceptance. Very well done. Really damn fine.
