Nope, I can't see how you combine the "Welcome to the neighborhood speech with oh, and by the way do you know someone, possibly extraterrestrials are secretly living on your property?" After all, they might think you were crazy, or if they either knew or were the extraterrestrials in question they might decide to use a neutralizer like the Men In Black...... Of course, the safest thing for them to do is swear that the next Star Wars or Star Trek installments are being filmed there. But then, I have the feeling that Hermione and her family would be fascinated to have a close encounter of the third kind! :P

Yeah, I can see it now. Rod Sterling walks down a darkened sidewalk into the view of the camera, takes a drag on his cigarette and says: “I offer for your consideration; a family, perfectly normal in all respects, who witness something extraordinary, and are about to take a step into the Twilight Zone.”
Don’t worry, the Grangers will have their close encounter soon enough.
