Review for A THOUSAND YEARS

A THOUSAND YEARS

A very interesting update and I'm certain one that will lead to a number of interesting follow-up events. If Lucius and company come after the Grangers, the results could end up being quite colorful and entertaining; though Amelia may well find them a mixed blessing. I like the way Harry & Hermione are becoming more of a team; this bodes well for the future. That they are bringing their classmates along should make things very interesting indeed on both sides of the divide, especially if they continue the same policies, and disregard House, when/if they go to Hogwarts.

Author's response

Heya Cat!

Like Dumbledore, Lucy has others do the dirty work. He’ll be safely tucked inside his mansion while the rest of the Deez are going out and risking their all for the cause.

Colorful and entertaining is actually shockingly close to the truth, and Amelia is gonn a have her hands full either way.

I’m working the Harry/Hermione dynamic as simply as possible given the disparity in their experiences. Just now, they are two kids becoming best friends as they grow. For the rest, it was a snap decision. The school they attend is an exclusive school for gifted students. Harry knows that many of these children are destined for upper level careers and is simply nudgng things to make the future a bit better. While none of their schoolmates are magical, his policies and manner of teaching will indeed work well on the other side of the divide…but that is well outside this story arc.
