That whole pregnancy thing seems like a bit of a cop out honestly it's kinda the same with Anko.
He could go talk to her and discuss their situation instead he's just running away from it.
Overpopulation is impossible for them to do the Earth can handle over a 100 billion humans needless to say I doubt the world of Naruto has any thing like that.
I can just down right say the whole have a baby means your going to age and die is bad it's just a cop out on your part and your better than that.
It seems like you've been drifting kinda left and right. Part of you dislikes Sasuke so you write him as a crazed loon instead of the guy who's whole life was based on a lie told to him by his home and brother along with his family.
:( Feel like your boxing yourself in with some of this stuff and Kiyumi is off making choices for people who are not her instead of discussing her unilateral decisions with everyone.
If you had said they'll discuss having children later down the road as their situation is fluid I could of bought that. But it sounds like your having them talk in absolutes.
I don't know man just seems like something you need to actually dedicate a chapter too or even just avoid if you don't wanna go there.
Author's response
Well that's your own opinion although I do admit that I find it a little amusing that someone is capable of extending another's life and they say the only cost to the gift is you can't have a child, but somehow they are the badguy.
You may be right about the current population. But I don't think Kiyomi would view things through the lense of right now. In this story she's already been alive for a couple of thousand years. She's seen the human population grow from a few scattered dwellings to massive cities. I think she would understand better than most that a growing population of people that does not age or die unless killed is unsastanible. Plus sometimes something has to be given up to gain something else.
Granted as you point out Kiyomi should have talked about it instead of just making the decision, but she's several thousand years old and most of her life she didn't need to discuss her decisions. That to me would be a tough habit to break.
In regards to your point about Sasuke, well let's see. He's defected from his village, attacked and nearly killed his teammate twice, killed his teacher who in turn killed the Hokage who he only knew as a kind old man, killed his brother, decides to burn Konoha to the ground, attacks and mutilates the Raikage and then upon meeting his resurrrected brother decides to annouce his desire to become Hokage to the people of the village that he abandoned. And you're saying I'm the one that has potrayed him as a crazed loon. Right...
