I'd actually worked out just now the silly errors in my protests over a romance between Harry and Lily before I read your reply which said the same thing - (a) since he's in a new timeline there's no Harry Potter in the future to jeopardise, and (b) he's in Henry's body, so no genetic incest/ick would be involved. Always good to have a story that makes me think.

And I'm wondering now - if Harry does find romance - whether it will be with Lily or Diane, the latter of whom featured more here, and who has a smile 'just like her daughter's'. :-)

Harry's 'war on terror' was also refreshingly different, given how it's aimed at Riddle in his early days.
