I was wondering have you thought of making this a crossover like say Harry goes to a different planet or a different reality with a way to get home. Say a shuttle and/or gate way to get back to his home reality and/or home world. If not that than maybe he moves to a different country say for insistence U.S.A. or France or Germany or Bulgaria or China or Japan? Examples of places he could go: The Naruto realm/reality or Star Trek realm/reality or Stargate realm/reality or Final Fantasy realm or star Wars realm/reality

Author's response

Hello ralphmullins,
from the moment that I invented my story it was the traditional "Harry stays in the UK and discovers the magical world"-Story. O.k. the magical world might be a bit bigger than what we've seen in canon and maybe you'll recognize some of my concepts from other realms/realities.
But I see a crossover as a merging of two (or more) writers. I can't emulate one, why should I fail at emulating two (and know it from the start)? It makes no sense, at least now. The thing is: I don't need to make it a crossover to introduce some concepts into Harry Potter. If I want him to be a Ninja, fine, there must be a Ninjutsu-Fighting-School in the whole of the UK...
The "Homecoming"-Storyline is a bit trickier. It won't be as blatant as "Harry gets kicked in the butt, finds himself wherever and has to get back home." Though there might be an element of Homecoming. Just not as literal.
I hope I could answer your questions.
Kind regards
