I had completely forgotten about that Sora character. Don't even need to know how this arc ends to tell you that I already prefer your version of Sora's background to canon. I also very much like how you've taken a different route to explaining that while he may have Bijuu like abilities he does not hold, what was essentially, a duplicate Kyuubi. The explanation for that in canon was just dumb, super dumb.
'We somehow used this inexplicable method to gather Kyuubi's 'biju gas' to make another Kyuubi.' Huh? I guess they added the biju gas to baby Sora's milk formula...
Also very much thrilled to see the One King Movement make an appearance. I've never read any manga (and I ain't about to start) so I don't know for sure, but in the anime it was a very throw away topic. Frankly, it seemed like little more than the plot device for the Sora arc. I always thought there was more that could be done with the movement so I'm looking forward to seeing how you expand on it here.
The ending struck me as a little rushed. I did like the idea of Naruto's capture but I wasn't too fond of its execution. I could easily believe that a canon Naruto would lower his guard around a stranger like Sora, but I had expected your improved version to be more cautious. Not to mention his ability to hirashin out of danger. Its a minor point, but I have to admit it did take a little something out of it for me.
I did, however, love how Fuka seemed to take in too much of Naruto's chakra. That was after I looked her up to remember who the hell she even was. But now that I have, I eagerly await to see how that plays out.
Overall, very good chapter. Can't wait for more.
