Heh, I like this as it is up till now, and will continue reading it when you update.
One note though, Amandas parents saw Kurt in his un-cloaked form in "The Toad, The Witch and the Wardrobe", and they also saw Toad, and the figth between the two of them. But (i think) they banned Amanda from seeing Kurt because a) he was a mutant, and b) because they feared that she might wind up in some mutant vs mutant gang-fight, this belief comes from the fact that a mutant vs mutant fight had just ensued within their living-room...
But that aside I like the story, and I'm not too bothered by that detail since I've read so many fics that make that tiny mistake....
