You've used "bemused smile" a couple of times now. "Bemused" means confused or befuddled, so I think you're thinking of "amused"... but in both cases, you could just say "a small smile" or something similar. Also, in a couple of chapters already the italics have had missing end or start tags.

I'll look into the smile thing as I don't recall the context of the smile at this moment. They're kids so they tend to smile a lot. As for the italics, this sites formatting is a bit strange and it tends to butcher it during the upload. I'll scan through the chapters and see if I can find the affected areas.
