Um, I just thought I should play devil's advocate, and mention that she didn't start dating Dean until the end of Harry's fifth year. Before that, I don't think she had a boyfriend.
Why do I get the feeling that Holly dying is going to be a recurring theme to the point that Harry will just take it as it comes, and wait until she reforms to nag at her about being careless?

Editorial oversight is always welcome- yeah, I screwed up that scene. Ginny's dating Michael Corner from after the Yule ball until some time late in the year when she dumps his ass for being moody about her Quidditch success. Not sure which way I'll jump in fixing this- probably change it to Corner with some sort of 'Gryffindor honour' excuse for choking off their fun.
The re-dying Holly joke has, I think, mostly run its course, though it may be used tactically towards the end. Holly will appear in a few more forms, though.
