Kinda weird that dumb dumb didn't get all that angry with Harry for loaning his cloak he did get kinda mad just not as mad as I thought he would

Author's response

Well, it was Chang and the Ravenclaws that caused the damage. They rightfully bear the brunt of the Headmaster's anger. Dumbledore has greater worries, by the way. He'll have to tell Nicolas Flamel about his Stone.

Harry, of course, is a master at lying with a straight face, having learned the skill the hard way while surviving ten years at Privet Drive.

That's the trick, isn't it? Admit to what you think they already know, act all humble and contrite, and promise to never do it again. Why would Dumbldore suspect that Harry knows more than he is letting on? His passive legilimency, if he uses it, confirms that little Harry is telling the truth. There is no need to probe further.
