okay, first of all...i want to be a spice. is there anyway we can make that happen?
"Forget this, Collette. You obviously don't want me to be in your life, so I'm going to do you a favor, and leave," i love the way this was worded. not exactly asshole, but brimming with anger. i'm glad that patrick stood his ground on this. he didn't cave in and apologize. i think that gives the trickster a bonus score in the game of hotness.
i'm also in love with the fact that you had pete drag him to the studio. it really seems like something that would happen, so kudos to you on that.
"Do we have to go? Did the bad people find us?" he asked sounding worried. i don't know exactly how to term this, but: this is the second instance of Jackson being scared of something. he's fully aware and afraid of the situation they are in, but he's so young and so vulnerable. how does he not "spill the beans"?
the whole flashback equals perfection. it gave us insight into the relationship she shared with her sister, who wasn't just a bad mother...she actually died. the way you worked the back story into that was magnificent.
immediately after thinking "be happy" she calls patrick. i love Collette’s character.
and leaving off with her telling patrick kind of opens their relationship and (obviously) brings it to the next level. but she's still not giving him the whole story, which leaves room for a misunderstanding (a.k.a. "drama-rama)
anyway, i'm here for you. seriously. if everytime i talk to you on AIM helps you with this story, then i'll quit my job so i can be at your service 24 hours a day.
oh, and one more thing before i go:
you ready for this?
Author's response
First of all: I am never going to be ready for this, so stop asking.
Second: I have no idea how you understand exactly what I am trying to say in my stories, but you do. And for that, you rule. Seriously.
Third: I'll take you up on being at my service 24 hours a day. ;)
