Having reread this I've come to the conclusion that Bumbleohsomore truly only cares about himself. His so called greater good is all about what is best for him and his ideas. And I stick by my statement that Harry escaping Hogwash for some other school is the only way he'd survive both Hogwash and Bumblemort's war. And don't doubt that it is in fact his war! He helped Riddle along the path to being a dark lord by sending him back to that orphanage at the end of every school year. Back to where he was repeatedly abused. Then nearly fifty years later he repeats his mistake with Harry. Why Harry didn't go dark like Riddle I don't know. However I suspect that Bumblemort made sure Harry didn't. The ol' bearded wonder blunder did have control over all of Harry's life after all. So enjoyed it just as last time. Thanks.
