He really wasn't playing his A game at the end. Harry tells him he's from the future and destroyed all Tommy's Horcruxes so he really should've realized Harry'd recognize a dark spell forming long before it was finished. So for the FIRST of the two Dark Lords as well as the Second Dark Lord TOO BAD, SO SAD! Wonderful story I enjoyed the whole thing, thanks.
