This was a very reflective piece, and the contrast between Obi-Wan's feelings for Qui-Gon, and Qui-Gon's for Dooku, gave the story real emotional depth. I did have one quibble, though. I can't see Qui-Gon smoking, since I doubt he'd care to fight lightsaber battles with a hacking cough and emphysema! Overall, your story was a good read with strong, moody prose, and I enjoyed it very much.
