Thanks be to the nature of language in general for being ambiguous. This way I can rate this story as “exciting” because of the sex AND because of the scary phone call and I wonder what will happen next. Nifty, eh?

I don't think you need to see a doctor quite yet. When the smiling starts to become apparent on the outside, then you should get to the ER ASAP.
