This story was good, very good. It had an almost surreal quality about it, which I liked. At times, this was a little hard to follow, but I get the feeling that was done on purpose, and it worked really well.
What was also nice about this was how you managed to insert some humor, how ever dark, into the stolry. It gave it a nice little...I'm sure there's a word for it...touch, maybe? Anyway, there's nothing wrong with a little comic relief.
This was the first story I've read on FicWad...and it was an excellent beginning!
