This was a lovely look into Danny's continuing struggles with addiction and his relationship with Martin. One note, according to my Mom (Mental Health nurse where one of her primary jobs has been dealing with rehabbing addicts) alcoholics do indeed usually minimize, saying they had fewer drinks than they did, but drug addicts almost never minimize and often actually will confess to using more drugs than they really do.
