Hm... I'm not sure, but I think I actually liked the original 2nd person perspective better, or maybe I'm just inimical to change. ;)

some readers of the original said that 2nd person put them off, so am trying out 3rd person.

Personally I prefer the 2nd person (more intimate in this case, perhaps?), but to each his/her own ^_^
