Final Fantasy VII humor is very hard to write-it takes a good sense of timing and k nowing when to let the jokes play themselves out.
That said, this is one of the funniest stories I've ever read, if only because I can see Ren9o painting a giant, glow-in-the-dark phallus on the side of the Shinra building, Marlene serving drinks at the bar, and Rufus having a total meltdown while trying to blend in with 'the common people.'
And the whole 'chocobo aphrodisiac' in the drink was a nice touch.
