Very nice story so far, Iliked the fact you had Draco still being a bigoted bastard despite not being as bad as in canon. A couple of problems.
While Harry's mage sight might not be able to see normal animals Scabers is actually wormtail so sould have been quite visible. Also I really don't see why Harry got mad at Ron for forgetting he was blind and his complaint about people thinking he was less because he couldn't see makes no sense. Ron wasn't thinking he was less, quite the opposite.
Similarly Hermionie or Nevile should have voiced some misgivings about a blind boy helping them look for the toad.
