Ah, beautiful work. Not only does this piece suit Lucien really well, but your prose feels similar to Gaiman's -- the same kind of hints and allusions, familiar things made strange by being described instead of named.

Thank you. I was trying for Gaiman's style, but going by feel - I couldn't have said how or what I was doing, so it's doubly great to hear that I succeeded for at least one person, and what it was I was doing. ;)
