Black Vengeance - 1

Hey I like your story. I also agree with some of your points. I also have some of my own that I have always wondered about.

1. Why do all the pureblood fanatics like Malfoy sr. who protray themselves as aristocrats and preach all this pureblood nonsense bow and scrap and kiss the very robes of a very insane, very, very crazy and powerhungry maniac who has been proven without a doubt to be just a halfblood!?! and to top it off why do they allow him to torture them constantly and not leave? I wouldnt stay, hell any sane person wouldnt put up with that.

2. How come the wiz world, students, teachers and Harry put up with the insane preachings of a quaker, someone who basically will sacrifice hundreds if not thousands of good decent people to save just one bad and evil type person. Even an idiot knows that someone that is as bad as malfoy jr. isnt going to change unless he wants to. Someone needs to remind dumbydork that you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink. if the so called bad people want to change they know where to find dumbydork so in otherwords stop making the good and honest people of the wiz world (especially the studends) suffer at the hands of basically a bully (snape) and then blaming in on the greater good. Hell if you want to talk or do something for the greater good then the best thing that they can do is kill the manipulative old coot dumbydork for the greater good of course, he worse than voldie, just goes about it a different way.

3. Ron is Gryffindors Malfoy. He is just as bad as malfoy jr. he's prejudice, arrogant, does not engage his brain, weakminded and has a temper. He is also one of those people that will never grow up, who is basically the ideal person that voldie looks for in a death eater cause of there jealouy and sef doubt inferior complex and who never ever see anything but black and white, doesnt see or believe that there are any shades of gray!

Author's response

Thanks for reading and reviewing and your very insightful remarks regarding the Death Eaters and their relationship with the Dark Lord. I am inclined to believe that Voldemort has a carrot-and-stick system in place. As you say, it would make no sense for someone like Lucius to serve him else. The rewards must be at least worthwhile to some of the Death Eaters. Voldemort would enslave some Death Eaters, but not all, although all must feel the dangerous life they are leading.

As for Ron being the Gryffindor Malfoy, it struck me as ironic that there are only three dictatorships in the wizarding world - headed by Voldemort, Fudge and Dumbledore. The Weasleys follow Dumbledore as blindly as the Death Eaters follow Voldemort. Your remarks about Ron are only too true - there is only black and white for Ron.

As for changing the Malfoy juniors of the world, I am inclined to think that it is just the cover story. Dumbledore must have better reasons than wide-eyed naivete that he can change the natures of everyone - I intend to show Dumbledore's reasons for his tolerating Snape and Malfoy. Putting hundreds of people at risk is obnoxious.

Thanks for your very insightful review - it was fantastic. The next chapter will be up in a few minutes.
