Excellent chapter, really reminiscent of a trial I remember from Family Matters. That being said, you did it justice in this story as well. One thing that I might have done different is to have Dumbledore added to a wizard's trial for willfully and knowingly placing Harry Potter in harms way by placing him with them. For neglect, for not checking on Harry, and if that wasn't the case and it was to ensure this mistreatment, then to prosecute him as an accessory before and after the fact. You're allowing him to get off too easy, and while Dumbledore very well may be looked at as leader of the light your story clearly shows that he will do whatever he deems needs to be done for his own greater good, and is not LIGHT, nor a LEADER. Food for thought, and that was what I was hinting at during one of my last reviews. Excellent work.
