An interesting start for a multi-part story. A burst of action and, I imagine, far-reaching consequences for hero and villain alike.
You characterised Hermione just right - she might be the quiet one but beware her vengeance if you push her too hard. Now I'm interested to see what happens with Harry on his visit.
