I liked the ambiance of this... the sorta creepy feel while reading it. But if I didn't read the summary, I wouldn't have come to the conclusion that it referred to IT technicians. In fact, the ending actually made me think "Big Brother in high school" rather than work. Or maybe you meant IT technicians in high school?
