Heya,Slash. I wrote this because almost verybody writes stories like this and somehow, little Harry both survives, and forgives his tormentors. It usually doesn't work that way. My inspiration for this story, is 'Paddy's Little Pup', by teacherbev. It's well worth the read.
As for my history, when my daughter was born, I swore she would never fear me the way I feared my dad. Her mother died 19 months later, and I'm certain, that that oath kept us both (relatively) sane. She's twelve now. Alorkin
