seriously, I'm a s* wife. I Missed 3 updates - why???? i think I need to add this to my alert because I cannot keep up with everything.....
Here's the reasons why I (can't) rate this chapter:
The insight into Brenda's background was awesome. In some way, we have all been through what she went through but I really enjoyed reading her journey and the events that lead to her where she is now. Great great work.
Joe's plans for the weekend looked as follows: Sleep in, spend some time with Dax, nap, take a walk with Dax, another nap, refrain from calling Brenda again because that would make him seem like a desperate creep. Ok - why am I falling in lust for Joseph?? Because of YOU woman. Ach!
So while his dog was relieving himself outside, followed by trying to catch butterflies, which looked about as clumsy as Joe trying to balance his toothbrush on the tip of his nose, the man got ready for the day. LMAO - first the dog's a beagle, second, it's trying to catch butterflies - thirdly, it belongs to Joe.....that's some funny fact right there....
And of course - there was CeCe who just add's spice to any story she's in.
I loved this chapter - but now I have 2 more to read....

Don't worry about it, Katy. I think I missed three times that somebody actually finished a story (that would be like at least 5 chapters) and then I had to catch up big time. And I haven't even gotten to all of that yet.
I'm glad you thought Brenda's background served to paint a picture of her character because that's what I was going for. Yeah, Joe is a sweetheart. I think Joe would be awesome with a dog. One that slobbers a lot more than a beagle though. Maybe some ugly Hemingway sort.
