This is cute, but, as Knuckles himself put it, kind of out of character. I also think you broke the fourth wall a bit too much. It's okay to skirt it a bit, but when you have a character say that the story is out of character, you're pushing it. Also, Knuckles' narration seemed a little... stiff. Still, there's potential here. It was adorable, and kinda funny.
