You see, this is the way to write Race. Key points in his character are that he's somewhat cryptic, and not so easily disturbed.
And the way he talked about Spot...ahhh...perfect. The way Spot is written is wonderful too. You're inspiring me to go and work on my 'Spot' piece. Ugh, the boy gives me a head ache but he is the only character I know who can come across like stone, which is very well portrayed here.
I demand more like it!
