Maybe she hadn't planned on writing sexual content? She wrote this story day by day as it came to her. The first sex scene was quite a few chapters in so maybe she realized it was needed. A young person could easily have read the first few lines of a sex chapter, realized what it was and stopped reading. Now, if it's too late to change the rating, oh well, get over it. She didn't realize. Whoopdy doo!

I have you some publicity on IMDB when they were talking about fanfics but idk if anyone came from there..not many people were on the boards at the time..so who knows?
