You know, I'm not yet done reading this. I've gotten as far as the fourth chapter. But so far this story is really, really wonderful! I thought the ending of Escaflowne was kinda incomplete, too, and I've read a lot of "ending" fics that try to put more (romance) closure (romance) to it, but I've never read any fic that comes close to this one. You've allowed the story to develop at its own pace, not just rushed through it with the assumption that the reader will find the new ending as satisfying as you did. You took your time, you spun out the plots and subplots and dialogues and interactions, you tied up the details to the original anime, and you let the characters just be themselves...er, stopping ranting now. Honestly, you should be getting three hundred reviews a week. At least. ^_^ Keep it up!
