Review for Light of Hope

Light of Hope

not sure, either way as of yet... many people try and write the 'twin' story but end up giving up on its... so i am not expecting much. anyway, whilst i don't like the idea of Hope being blind, i can see how she can 'see' other things. nevertheless it is odd.

i would have liked Minnie to be a bit more forceful, especially after she first hand witnessed what the twin are put through.

btw, i can just see Draco making a remark about how Hope should have been 'put down' because of her deformity. - his words not mine....

anyway, i reserve my judgement, but not bad, i look forward to see where you take it...

Author's response

Have you read 'Compensations?' That kind of explains to blindness thing--I was trying not to write a Super Harry(/Hope) story. Notice that McGonagall didn't witness it first hand. She could definitely tell that the Dursleys disliked the twins, but that might have been because the twins replied to the letter themselves, without asking them first. Dumbledore probably overstated the need for protection an warned her about how the Dursleys didn't like magic because it had gotten Lily killed, so they wouldn't be to hot about the idea 'at first'.
I think I'll use the 'put down' thing (I'l probably use 'should have been drowned at birth')--and I'll make sure to note that you said it first.
Thanks for the review!
