Ha! Oh, poor Raito. I love L, but I think it would be hard enough to live with him normally (of course he's doing it on purpose!), without never being able to get away for a moments peace like Raito.
One small thing that threw me out of the story for a minute was the line "And he ate cherries entirely too much." All I could think after reading that was that we've never seen him eat cherries at all, let alone often. But after that I got drawn right back in because, hey, he's eating them then and that's what matters.
