You make nice long chapters, quite well written.
All in all its a good story, but something is off, and the problem is I can't put my finger on it. I don't know - maybe that it is slow paced, maybe to much Dursleys (why going back to show what happened to them - unless you'll bring them back in the future), and all that animal language thing - I personally don't like it, it makes his unique ability to talk to snakes a lot less than it should be.
Oh my, It sounds like a flame, but its not, really. I like the fic, I'm still reading it and waiting for the update.
