I enjoy the way you make battle so realistic in this story. From the descriptions of blood and gore to the effects of potions and the fact that the potions must actually be retrieved before they can be used. I also liked the little anecdote about Eiko drunk and high on elixir.
You are also very good at writing sex scenes so that they are both realistically awkward and not so graphic as to overbalance the rest of the story.
I am also thoroughly enamoured of your metaphor comparing Freya to an Eiko-cooked chicken.
