I should have known that their plan to eliminate the entry point of the Heartless would not work, but I didn't know how spectacularly it was going to erupt on them. Above all I love that final portion of this chapter. It's so chilling. I love the way you describe the Heartless as these swarms of terrifying alien things. You make them seem real and frightening as hell.
I love the way you describe Darkside as a huge man of ungainly and strange proportions. Your description just sent shivers down my spine.
I really also adore the moment when Tifa and Yuffie both break down. That must have been a long time coming for them.
I also truly love when Tifa and Barret dance.
