Oh, this is my favorite chapter so far. I was thinking you might still have some awkwardness between Lulu and Cid after that last difficult conversation, but I like the flow of this one. You covered so much ground without making it wander! Little tiny tiny tiny touches showing how they're becoming more comfortable together, and a few dollops of humor thrown in. (Rikku's comment about the shower made me laugh aloud when I plugged it into the translator). Cid's frank grumble at the end sounds about right for him.
You managed to pull off the standard h/c scene without making it contrived. I envy you. ;)
