I think the strongest chapter emotionally was the first (it's always the mothers that have to sit out the game), but for resonance with the way everything works out, the third chapter is strongest because you can sort of see the future laid out in front of them, and the description of her pokemon up with her was great. The May chapter I think might have been stronger if there had been more of the disconnect/loss of the other chapters. She just sounds kind of annoyed at the delay, and there isn't much on how she views him or even reaction on how he's viewing her. It's an interesting chapter as itself but kind of the weak link in the trio of chapters.
