Well that would make me feel a tad bit better about killing someone if they were a murderer, although it'd probably still haunt me for the rest of my life.

Yeah, well, Gerard already killed one Matt, and I don't think he'd hesitate (too much) to do that again. Besides, it was in self-defense; he can't get in trouble for that.l
