Eulogy of the Incomplete Souls

An interesting look at the characters. I really liked all of the scenes. They were connected, yet self-contained at the same time. The first one feels the most disjointed, because I'm having problems placing it. I'm assuming it's after Rachel dies, but before they find Terra... I think it would have a lot more impact if it had more context, but it's still a good, if sad, piece.

My favourite part of the second one is when they get out of the room and Edgar asks how long Locke had been there. Perfect. :)

The third one was cute. I like Locke's uncertainty at how to act around royalty. Makes Edgar's decision not to inform Locke at first all the more understandable as it gives them the opportunity to become friends without the formality in the way.

My favourite was the last one. I loved the mentions of hope, because it parallels Banon's tale of Pandora's box. And despite the feeling of hopelessness that it leaves us with, we know that things will turn out alright in the end.

My only complaint is that there isn't very much closure, but I guess that's to be expected as it's more of a series of vignettes than a "story". A beautiful piece either way. Thanks.
