Nothing bad can happen as long as you don't let it. But this time that wasn't the case; Wendy had left her invincible armor at home, and in doing so, put a chink in Ava's. This line really stuck with me. I thought it was well-written and it really showed how Ava was falling apart, without actually saying that Ava was falling apart.
