Some people just don't listen, do they? I think this is a not uncommon theme in many fanfics because, after the first excitment of reading canon, we see all the deep nastiness in the Potterverse -- the sufferings that a real Harry or Luna might have to go through, ignored by the adults.
I'm enjoying this Harry. Well done.

The question for me is: Did JKR put that cruelty, and lack of concern over it on the part of those who should be responsible for quelling it, deliberately to show that the Wizarding World is not a utopia, or was it just a plot device on her part to create the Harry and Luna characters? BJH
