The Confessional - Continued

I am amused by Nooj's sea-sickness. I also like the way that he becomes poetic when he is describing Paine. There is a shift in tone. The only time he can be slightly passionate is when talking about her.

The change in the date mark at the beginning of Nooj's entry was innovative and a reminder of the medium he is using to record his observations.

Such innovations help keep the story fresh, as do Nooj's continual disoveries of new skills and facets belonging to his companions.

Author's response

You should hear what Paine says about him. They wax so eloquent about one another you would find it hard to believe.
