Ch. 13
Moving On
Benji walked out of his room and started down the steps messing his hair up, his pajamas wrinkled, he looked around, “Where are ya!”
“I’m in the kitchen waiting for food…”
Benji walked in the kitchen and walked up to Tony, “So I have to fix it?” He kissed his temple
Tony nodded, “Duh! You are the cooker.” He smiled
Benji rolled his eyes and shook his head and walked up to the cabinet. He looked at him, “Fix cereal…”
Tony through up his hands, “Weak and defenseless!”
Benji glared and rolled his eyes, “Oh my fucking god…”
Tony stuck out his bottom lip, “Sorry…”
Benji smiled and pulled out cereal
The door bell rang
Benji sighed and put the cereal down, “Hey weak and defenseless, make your own…” He walked out
Tony looked at the box and held up his hands again, “Still weak and defenseless!”
Benji opened the door, “Hey bro!” He hopped up and held his arms out
Joel walked up and hugged him, “Hiya!”
Benji looked behind him, “Billy! Hilary! Hi!” He smiled
Billy waved, “Hey…”
Hilary smiled, “Hi Benji!” Her arm was through Billy’s
Benji looked at Joel, “I heard you got a girlfriend?” He smiled
Joel smiled and looked back, “Come here hun!”
Benji blinked, “Hey she’s really pretty!”
“Hi…” the girl waved, “I’m Cassie!”
Benji smiled, “Hi Cassie!”
Joel smiled and walked up and hugged her, “This is my girlfriend! I told you I could live until I found my true girl but no you tried to hit me up with all sorts of girls. Sorry dude this girl is right for me!” He hugged her and kissed her temple
Benji smiled, “Nice to meet cha Cassie.”
Cassie nodded
Billy looked at Benji, “Can we come in?”
Benji nodded, “The weak and defenseless is in the kitchen.”
Joel blinked and started walking with Cassie and the other two
Hilary looked at Billy, “I don’t feel so great.”
Billy smiled, “Well you are pregnant so its going to make you feel horrible.” He kissed her cheek
She smiled, “I’m happy I’m having yours”
Benji smiled, “So is it a boy or girl?”
Billy looked back, “Girl.”
Benji nodded, “Cute! So what you planning to name her?”
“Kayann.”
Joel smiled, “That’s a cute name!”
Hilary looked at Joel, “Billy thought of it.”
Benji smiled watching as they kept talking. He looked to the side and walked off after them
They all sat on the couch and Tony walked out and smiled welcoming them
Benji sat down watching them he looked to the side
“Well, after the frightening experience of my father almost killing everyone I loved and cared for I have to say… that its really great to have a life on the road and at home…” Benji looked up from his paper, he looked at the clock, “Everyone is staying the night over the weekend because we are gonna have this sleep over thing, the girls idea… But anyways… Billy and Hilary are having a baby… there are about two months left. They are going to name her Kayann J. Martin. Billy and Hilary are married. I heard Joel is planning on asking Cassie. He really likes her.” Benji smiled, “He’s going to ask her on her birthday… November 14th. He thinks it’s the most appropriate time. Well I think so…” He looked at Tony laying beside him then looked around on the floor at everyone sleeping on the floor in their couples, “Tony and I are together… It’s odd and the fans are having a cow… but I don’t care. They can freak out. As for me? I’m not having any visions anymore, well… I have some. But so far everything has gone ok. I’m living happy with everyone I grew up with…” He looked at Cassie, “And just met.” He looked down, “But I need to say that for what happened we are lucky Billy came. Killing my father.” He sighed still writing, “After we got out of the place the cops just happened to show up, they say that they saw our van stuck on a tree… well.. smashed… but they brought us back for questioning because of the body and we got away…”
Tony opened his eyes and looked at Benji, “Hey…”
Benji looked at him, “Hey…”
Tony sat up and put an arm around his shoulder, “What’s wrong?”
Benji looked at him, “I’m keeping a memory type thing.”
“Benji, that happened a year ago.”
Benji looked up, “But… I was thinking that I could remember it you know.” He looked at him
Tony smiled, “I guess. Well… don’t stay up to late..” He kissed his cheek and laid down, “Night.”
Benji smiled and looked down, “Night…” He started writing
“Well, I should be getting to bed you know? Sorry it’s so long. But I think I needed a memory booster.” He laughed slightly, “But I guess that since everyone is asleep this isn’t a good time. But now after I write you I’m going to probably put you somewhere safe till I figure out what to do with you. So… all I have to say is that I’m happy we are finally moving on… C’ya later…” He started folding the paper and put it in the drawer, he turned off the light and laid down hugging Tony
We are finally moving on…
Moving On
