just a small correction/clarification...
Actually, if you read the books carefully, it's more likely that Voldemort is bipolar, and that he is affecting harry's mood through the scar. This is lightly alluded to in the books, and all but out right confirmed in the OoP movie. Obviously, this doesn't work for your story, but i just though i should mention it to you. Actually, if you think about it, i think voldie has just about every single psychosis known to man! Autism, aspergers, and one hell of an oedipus complex, to name but a few!Innocence Faded

i STILL think Hermione should have both Harry and Ron! They all get along together. Their kids would be grossed out though.Author's response
I'm Grossed out by that. I read enough of that in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter Series.
What two men do in the privacy off a pup tent on a lonely cattle drive or in their own private bedroom is fine by me...As long as I don't have to watch/read/hear about it.Innocence Faded

A bit of a strange twist in my opinion.
I read the entire story and it was a nice read, I just can't really understand why Hermione chooses Harry or why Harry would take her back.
While Harry was under potions, Hermione was not. Which means Harry had no choice the past X years. Hermione did have a choice and she chose for Ron to live her life with.
Then when Harry is suddenly available again (the means don't matter) she just changes to Harry again? That just made Ron 2nd rated, included the children she has with them.
Harry shouldn't have even accepted her back, she made her own choice long ago. If she was being dosed as well then fine, but that wasn't the case...
Anyway, nice read and thanks for posting it.Author's response
Dammit! I hate it when people shoot holes in my logic!
:)
Really, in a way she was being manipulated...perhaps after her plan succeeded Ginny slipped Hermione a potion for a nudge, and maybe a nudge was all that was needed...
I better write that down.
