“You fucking bastard! My life is more important that you getting laid,” he growled out at the stunned Ryan.

Ryan slowly came out of his stunned daze, his eyes going red as he looked at Brendon. “Contrary to what you believe, Brendon, no it isn’t. You’re easily replaced.”

“Apparently you’re more easily replaced than I am,” Brendon shot back, “or else Mikey wouldn’t have been called in to finish your job.”

Brendon stared at Ryan, not knowing what to do when the younger male pulled up his pants and slid down the wall, curling into a ball with a lost look in his eyes. “Ryan...?” He frowned when Ryan didn’t even acknowledge him and only kept looking ahead, suddenly looking very small and insecure. He knelt down in front of Ryan, feeling a small bit of relief when Ryan’s eyes focused on his own.

“Or else Mikey wouldn’t have been called in to finish your job.”

“I am,” Ryan whispered, his chest constricting as an even harsher realization dawned on him. “I am easily replaced,” he said his voice cracking as his words flow. “I was his favorite, and then I was cast aside for Deacon... I was his favorite again, and now... Now Mikey has taken my place...” His gaze lowered as a faint pain began to build behind his eyes. “No matter how much I love him, no matter how hard I work to make him see I’m the only one who loves him... I’ll always be expendable to him.”

Brendon frowned, feeling even more sympathy for Ryan now as he watched the usually strong male seem to crumble before his eyes. “Ryan,” he said softly as he reached forward and ran his fingers through Ryan’s hair, their eyes meeting once more. “I didn’t mean what I said... You know he’s only doing this as punishment.”

“And Deacon!?” Ryan snapped, his tears finally falling down his cheeks. “I had done nothing at all wrong when he brought in that fucking piece of shit bastard! I was everything he wanted, I did and still do follow orders, and he pushed me away for some new piece of ass!”

Brendon frowned as he tried to ignore the vibrating in his pocket, knowing Ryan needed him more than someone needed to reach him. He brushed his fingers through Ryan’s hair again and sighed as he lowered his hand. “I’ve been working for William a lot longer than you have been under his service, Ryan,” Brendon said, his voice soft as he studied Ryan’s tear-streaked face. “One thing I’ve learned while working for him is that he has never and will never fall for one of his Boys. You and the other Boys are just pieces of meat to him; even if you deserve to be viewed as more.”

“I don’t know why it’s never hurt until now,” Ryan quietly spoke as he looked down at his knees, which were curled up to his chest. He looked to Brendon’s pocket, where the vibrating could be heard again. “You can answer your phone Brendon,” he said as he looked back to his knees. I’m not that important anyway, he thought as Brendon took out his phone.

Brendon sighed as he flipped open his phone and pressed the connect button. “Hello?”

“Brendon!” The excited voice on the other side made him jerk his ear away from the phone.

“Jesus, Caity,” he grumbled as he brought the phone back to his ear, “You forget my ears amplify sound, can you take it down a peg?”

Caity giggled on the other side of the line. “Sorry, Brendon, I did forget. But hey! I have some news!” She exclaimed and he could practically hear the proud smile in her voice as he once again took the phone away from his ear.

“What did you find out?” Brendon asked as he stood up, looking down at Ryan, who looked up at him.

“Deacon is alive,” Caity said, “and, he’s actually being held, supposedly prisoner, by none other than my sexy stud, Pete Wentz.”

“You haven’t found out where, have you?” Brendon questioned as Ryan’s eyes widened; Brendon could swear he saw a glimmer of hope in the soft brown orbs.

“You know that old warehouse over at Vine and Sykoma? Pete and his whole fucking crew are there, and, in one of the holding rooms, windowless thankfully, is the one and only, Deacon Martin.”

“Are you sure about this?”

“Yep! Well, I gotta go, I have someone knocking at the door. Anything else while you got me on the line?”

“No, Caity, I have to go as well,” Brendon said as he ran his fingers through his hair and then hung up the phone, looking down at Ryan, who looked like he was on the verge of jumping up and running.

“W-Was I hearing right?” Ryan whispered, his heart pounding in his chest as his hope rose even more.

“Yeah Ryan, you heard right,” Brendon answered, “Deacon’s with Pete.”

“If... If I tell Master Beckett, that’s giving him Pete and Deacon in one go, Brendon,” Ryan said as he quickly scrambled to his feet. “That can put me back in his number one spot, he won’t even look twice at anyone else!” Ryan exclaimed, smiling wider than Brendon could remember him ever smiling. He quickly kissed Brendon hard on the mouth before he bolted from the room.

Brendon sighed as he shook his head, looking down to the ground. He felt sorry for Ryan, because the poor boy would never understand what Brendon explained to him. Beckett never fell for his pets, and Ryan was going to have to find out the hard way.

Ryan came to a sudden stop outside of his Master’s bedroom, frowning for a brief moment when he heard the noises coming from the other side of the door. They’re still going at it? He thought to himself, hesitating before he knocked on the door, a small part of him thoroughly joyful with the fact that he was interrupting Mikey. He shivered at the deep growl that came from the other side of the door, a sign that Beckett was pissed at being interrupted. He stood his ground when a very annoyed Mikey opened the door and glared at him through black eyes.

“I need to speak with Master Beckett,” Ryan said, surprised at how smooth and calm his voice had come out, “it’s important.”

Mikey looked over his shoulder after rolling his eyes. “Master, Ryan says he has something important to speak with you about. Should I let him in or send him on his way?”

Inside the room, Beckett raised an amused brow and signaled for him to let Ryan come into the room. “Let him in, Michael,” Beckett said as he sat up against the headboard, hoping that whatever Ryan had to say was something pointless so he could punish him for interrupting his pleasure. Beckett eyed Ryan with an amused smirk as his nose picked up a scent following Ryan as he moved to the bed. “What is so important that you had to interrupt my getting off?” He questioned, silencing Mikey with a slight look when he heard the soft giggle before he directed his gaze at Ryan, who was looking at him. “Well?”

“I have a gift for you, Master...”

[Author's Note: I decided to show an emotional side to the cold Ryan, before I do something horrible to him =) Reviews are love, and I'm going to post one more chapter after this one, request: Do not kill me.]
